Now in its 16th year, the New Pittsburgh Courier Women of Excellence Awards and Induction Ceremony celebrates African American women professionals and their outstanding accomplishments. Since its inception in 2008, 750 outstanding women have been inducted into this prestigious sisterhood. From entrepreneurs and corporate executives to community and non-profit leaders to clergy, elected officials, and educators, these inspiring women are at the forefront of their respective fields. They are blazing a trail for future generations to follow. 

Every year, more and more talented African-American women are recognized and inducted into this growing community as they share their journey to success. The New Pittsburgh Courier Women of Excellence Awards recognizes these amazing individuals for their hard work, dedication, creativity, resilience, and commitment to excellence reinforcing a powerful movement in the Black community that uplifts and empowers women who deserve to be celebrated and recognized.
